Knobby's Find - Short Drama A Sleepy Country Town, a vivacious, curvacious girl, moonlight and surreal happenings unearth feelings previously unrealised.

This an extract from an early draft, crafted by David Leigh: SCENE 7 EXT: KATANGA ROAD WOODS – EVENING. There is a feint orange tinge from the now diminished sunset, causing the little car to look orange along with the faces of Hilda, carrying a torch, Jed, Vince and Bill as they walk down a track towards the forest. A light can be seen in amongst the trees and the four stop. Hilda switches off the torch. It is a campfire and there is erratic movement around it. We are much closer now and we can see the figure of a naked girl dancing in around the trees.

HILDA 'That damned girl is breaching the fire ban. She makes to move in and Vince grabs her arm. Hilda looks down at his hand.' JED 'No sense in acting hastily Hilda. Can’t be sure what’s gonna happen next, can you? Hilda pulls her arm free from Vince’s grip.'
